Begleitet wird das Gespr\u00e4ch von Musik von queerfeministischer Literatur aus Ghana \u2013 geschrieben von einer Aktivistin, die aktuell vor Ort lebt und organisiert ist. Im Anschluss gibt es ghanaische Speisen und Getr\u00e4nke sowie Raum f\u00fcr Austausch und Diskussion.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nEnglish<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Version<\/strong>: Two queer Ghanaian activists Angel Maxine and Bright Amoabeng will speak about the current realities of queer lives in Ghana: At the center of the conversation are the increasing criminalization of queer people and activists, its colonial roots, and recent political developments \u2013 in particular the Anti-LGBTQIA+ bill recently passed by parliament. They will discuss how space for queer people is shrinking, and how people continue to organize and fight for their rights despite these conditions. The two activists will also share insights into their own work. Angel Maxine connects art and activism and will bring her music to the stage during the event. The conversation will be moderated by the Ghanaian activist Suhaidatu Dramani. The discussion will be accompanied by music as well as readings of queer feminist literature from Ghana \u2013 written by an activist who is currently based there and organizing on the ground.
