PIRON Global Development
At PIRON Ghana, our business model builds on the broader PIRON Global Development approach of co-creating and delivering tailored strategic support and implementation services for a diverse range of international and local actors. As a faith-based agency specialised in international development cooperation, PIRON Global Development operates from offices in Bonn (primary UN city in Germany) and Accra/Ghana, combining global expertise with strong regional presence. Our interdisciplinary multi-cultural team provides sound advice that is context-specific and culturally sensitive. We position ourselves as a partner for project management, fundraising, consulting, strategy & organisational development, coaching and communication, working across sectors with clients including private-sector companies, NGOs, international networks, public institutions, and faith-based organisations. The core vision is to act as “bridge builders” who inspire and co-create sustainable solutions, with strong values around sustainability, integrity, togetherness and impactfulness shaping how work is delivered.
In Accra, this model is concretised through office hosting and representation services: clients can be physically present in the PIRON Ghana office house and share workspace with colleagues from other organisations, benefiting from an environment that fosters strategic exchange and network building. Alternatively, PIRON can act as the sole representative of a client in Ghana or the broader region, meaning that PIRON staff deliver services and manage operations on behalf of the client without the client having any own personnel onsite. This flexible approach allows PIRON to provide strategic proximity to local markets while adapting to each client’s resourcing preferences and commitments.
Across both physical hosting and full representation arrangements, PIRON supports clients across the market development lifecycle — from strategy and intelligence to implementation and stakeholder engagement. Examples include helping a European company explore opportunities in Ghana’s human resources sector, assisting an international NGO with strategic networks and public affairs, or managing a multi-stakeholder programme in development cooperation. Typical services offered include:
- Market exploration, market entry and business development support
- Strategy development and organisational consulting
- Strategic network building and stakeholder engagement
- Project management, secretariat and administrative services
- Market intelligence and feasibility studies
- Public affairs, policy analysis and communications
